Major W. W. Rogers

Major

It seems that Wm. Griffin procured transportation for John Curtis, his wife Mary and three children from Washington D. C. to Charleston. After John Curtis received the Order for Transportation he deserted his wife and children. Mary, his wife, had him arrested and taken before Justice Walker, 397 D. St., Opp. City Hall, who took the transportation order in charge and now has it. I recommend that a request be sent to him to deliver the transportation then the case can be fully considered.

Very respectfully,

John O. Dink.
